Vicki Mayo

Vicki Mayo is a pioneering entrepreneur and philanthropist who has successfully navigated the intersection of business and social impact. Vicki is the owner of the Mayo Global Family of companies and CEO of Sunny Day Sports and TouchPoint Solution. Under her leadership as Chairwoman and Owner of GMI Cybersecurity, she has positioned GMI as Arizona’s largest minority-owned business. Mayo’s entrepreneurial spirit emerged early when she adopted two children at 20, sacrificing her Olympic aspirations in horseback riding. Deeply committed to social change, she leads the Mayo Family Foundation, addressing pressing issues such as at-risk youth, food insecurity, and healthcare equity. Her humanitarian efforts include rescuing and evacuating 147 Afghan female students from Afghanistan. Additionally, she has developed programs like the Foster Siblings Summer Camp and Keys to Success for foster youth. Mayo holds both a BA in Political Science and a BS in Hospitality Administration from Northern Arizona University.

Mayo commits significant time to The Mayo Family Foundation, which focuses on food insecurity issues; supporting at-risk children in the US; supporting international refugees; and providing access to robust healthcare across the globe.

Most recently, The Mayo Family Foundation led efforts to rescue 147 young Afghan women from the grips of the Taliban, and assist in the students’ relocation and case management as refugees in Arizona.
